Totals and combinations describe different things
Sic Bo uses three dice. A total describes the sum of their faces; a combination describes the faces themselves. These can overlap without being interchangeable. For example, a total does not by itself tell you whether all three dice match.
Check the triple exception
Evolution’s First Person Super Sic Bo description gives Small as totals 4–10 and Big as 11–17, with triples excluded from both. That exception shows why reading only a number range can be misleading. This source is for the digital First Person product, not proof of a particular live table’s configuration.
Live and digital are separate versions
The 12Play live casino page mentions Sic Bo. A similarly named digital game should not automatically inherit a live-dealer label. Identify the version before discussing how results are produced. Multiplier features, where present, also require their own rules; the dice total alone does not explain the complete display.
Quick reference
- Total
- Dice showing 1, 3 and 5 have a total of 9. The total alone does not identify the three individual faces.
- Double / triple
- Two matching faces and three matching faces are different patterns. A repeated face should be described independently from the overall sum.
- Example: 3, 3, 3
- The sum is 9, but it is also a triple. Under the cited First Person Small/Big rule, the triple exception matters despite the sum.
- Version
- A live table, digital First Person release and multiplier variant need precise names. A generic dice screenshot cannot establish which rule sheet applies.

Common question
Is every Super Sic Bo listing a live dealer game?
No. Evolution also publishes a First Person version. Use the exact product name and its description to distinguish the versions.
