Fixed prizes and growing pools
A fixed jackpot has a defined prize under its rules; a progressive jackpot can grow through the stated contribution mechanism. The label alone does not show who contributes, how it is triggered or where it is available. Those details belong to the specific jackpot system.
Operator configuration matters
Pragmatic Play’s Jackpot Play announcement describes an operator-local progressive network with four tiers and configurable settings. This demonstrates why a provider-wide feature announcement cannot establish that the same system is enabled at 12Play. The brand’s general discussion of jackpots is a separate piece of evidence.
A maximum win is not proof of a jackpot
A maximum-win multiple describes a game limit. It does not by itself establish a shared prize pool or a progressive meter. When a screenshot shows a large amount, identify whether it is a jackpot balance, a fixed prize, a feature result or a theoretical cap before labelling it.
Quick reference
- Fixed jackpot
- The rules define a fixed prize or multiplier. The jackpot name does not itself prove that the prize grows as other people participate.
- Progressive pool
- The published rules must explain how the pool grows and which games or operator network participate. A provider logo alone does not answer those questions.
- Tier name
- Minor, Major or Grand are labels used by particular systems. They are not universal amounts that can be copied from one game to another.
- Maximum win
- A maximum-win statement is a cap or feature limit. Keep it separate from a displayed jackpot meter and from any claim about typical results.

Common question
Does every high maximum-win slot have a progressive jackpot?
No. A win cap and a progressive pool are different concepts. A progressive claim needs the game or network rules that establish the pool.
